James Sydeian

Author and Living Steam Punk Character.

So what is stream punk? Well it's simply an idea of a fanstasy version of Victorian times. A sort of retelling of 1860's where Jules Vern like inventions of impossible machines fill the world and often with an added H.P Lovecraft feeling of dark horror. The concept of this has slowly edged it's way into the collective of the "Gothic" community, who delight in dressing in costume and partially like the romantic nature of yesteryear. It should now however been seen entirely separately from the Gothic scene. While there are similarities in its appeal to many of the same people, its is less about vampires and ghouls and more about technology and science fiction.

The author James Richardson-Brown or James Sydeian as he is more commonly known, is a work of art in his own right. Dressing as he does in the costume of his character from the Novel "The Sydeian Coalition". Designing and making all his steam punk accessories from old pieces of broken antiquities.
