We provide selected artists with a service. Our website receives thousands of visitors looking for art.

We know it's extremely difficult for art buyers to wade through hundreds of amateur artists in the hope they will find the pearl they are looking for. We help with this by making sure they only find the highest quality artwork, being selective means you only get the very best art.

There are two ways to get listed.

Commisson or fee

Commission based

This is way real world galleries work. we take a 40% commission.
when we sell your art we make money, if we don't you pay nothing.

Listing Fee

This is the way most online gallies work, and is ideal for artist with their own website. We take monthly fee for listing you on the site, but charge you zero commission on sales.

Selections

We judge an artists work purely on quality, and their professionalism.

If you wish to be considered please contact using the email form at the top of the page, with the title as Submission, please also include a telephone number as we do like to talk to our artists. Once we have your email we will contact you and ask to see photographs of your work. We will take new artist and long time proffessionals, but the quality must be of the highest standard.

If we like your work, the quality of photographs is high enough and we believe you will be able to meet our high customer service standards we will then place your pieces for sale on the site.

How does it work.

Commission based.

When a piece of your art sells you will be emailed and asked to pack it, making it ready to be posted. (we can give advice on this). Once it's ready a courier will be sent to collect your artwork and deliver it to the customer, we organise this and will cover this cost if you are in mainland UK (exculding for sculptors).
If you are outside the mainland UK you will be asked to arrange all the devilery and pay any costs for this yourself.

Courier companies will not insure works of art, therefore all works of Art are sent at the artists own risk. Arts-fine cannot be held responsible for damage to items while in transit. Therefore It is vital that all works of art are packaged well.

Once the delivery company confirms it has arrived and the 30 days money back guarantee has elapsed you will be paid. You can be paid via a paypal account or a personal Cheque.

If a piece of your art we have on display here is no longer available for sale you must inform us instanly. If a piece of art sells from our site that you can no longer supply a 5% fee will be charged to you to cover our credit card transaction fees and refunds to the customer. It may also mean the end of our service to you. We hold the right to remove any artist at anytime for any reason. Artist may leave for any reason too, giving notice in email, writting or via telephone(Outstanding payments must of course be made).

We are not working as agents and artists are free to sell their work anywhere they please in the real world. but must not list their work for less elsewhere on the internet.

If you do not have a payment system on your own website, we advice about setting one up on to take paypal payments.

Artists using a listing fee system are connected directly with the customers. Payment is via there own or paypals shopping cart system. Artist must make their own arrangments for delivery, but we can advice on this. Arts-fine only acts an an advertiser. Once a piece of art sells the artist and the buyer have made the agreement between each other, and arts-fine is not liable. however complaints against non delivering artists will be taken extreemly seriously and may result in withdrawl of service to that artist.

Only 12 Featured Artists

We do not intend to have more than 12 artist featured on this site at any one time. This will give each artist a strong platform and knowledge their art is in good company. Once again this gives customers even greater confidence they really are only viewing outstanding masterpieces, viewing those choosen few who's work really is the best. We do not intend to rush into taking on new artists and if we only find one or two we like this year those are the only artist's we'll show case.

Since we only intend on a few artist it is important to have at least 5 pieces of work for sale.
