 About the ArtistThe Contemporary Paintings by Lisa Jean
Lisa Jean is the Artist qualifying with an FDA in Photographic studies from Bournemouth Arts Institute, in 2004, progressing to work in Photographic production on various fashion and advertising shoots.
Originally from the South Coast of England Lisa Jean has recently returned from Australia where she set up several links with Sydney based galleries.
Lisa Jean uses primarily pen ink and watercolour, creating a mix of vibrant energy and intricate pattern work to produce each piece. Her work takes focus on the human body and how movement and from can be interpreted. Her time is shared between youth arts and producing her own work. Excitingly Lisa’s first Children's Picture book ‘The Young Lady who lived in a box’ has recently been picked up by a publisher.
